• First Commission

This was my very first commission, I made it for a good friend of mine Will Denney (Owner of Carolina vintage) who later shared a booth with me at my first pop-up. I was commissioned to rework his vintage Nike hoodie with a specific tapestry. Originally I tried to make a sleeve but the fabric was too stiff to make a good sleeve. It took adding another fabric and changing the way I approached the project. I ended up using a vintage Tommy Hilfigger to rework the hoodie and added the tapestry as the front pocket. Through that, I realized I loved the individual creative process that a personal commission requires.

  • Carhartt x Coogi

I took a stained carhartt hoodie (Bought from SteezeFinds) with a ripped front pocket and reworked it with a vintage Coogi shirt I thrifted from Rag-O-Rama in Atlanta back in high school. It was one of my favorite thrifts of all time but I didn’t wear it often because it was a shirt rather than the traditional hoodie. Coogi is too good to just give away so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to get use out of a true vintage piece and save and rework a stained ripped up hoodie into a unique one of a kind piece.

  • Dickies Tote Bag

I found a couple different tote bags at a goodwill and some local pop-ups and really started to like having one for functionality as well as a part of my outfit that doesn't also cover my up my back (like a backpack). I decided that tote bags are perfect for shopping around at markets and would be a great way to use up old scraps. So I decided to reverse engineer one of my bags to understand how it was constructed and pattern a new one for the future. I constructed this first one using two pair over dickies that were too big for me.
